Thank you for your interest in contributing to PwC's Skills for Australia 2021 Automotive Projects. PwC’s Skills for Australia is seeking input from a diverse range of stakeholders for the following projects:
         - accessory fitting
         - battery electric vehicle repair, and
         - heavy vehicle telematics service and repair.
 
This is an exciting opportunity to help drive a coordinated industry approach to the development of vocational education and training (VET) components that will address skill needs in our economy.

Who do we want to hear from?
We want to hear from interested employers and experts, industry representatives, trainers, assessors, recruiters, students, and others who are passionate about improving vocational education and training, and/or who would like to provide feedback around industry trends, skills needs or training priorities in their sector.

This survey in particular, is relevant to people with a strong interest or passion about the future skills in automotive accessory fitting, battery electric vehicle repair and heavy vehicle telematics service and repair. You don't need to know specifically about vocational training to be able to contribute.
About our projects
We are in the process of establishing a Case for Endorsement across the following streams of work:

ACCESSORY FITTING - Creating new and updating existing units of competency to address current skills gaps relating to accessory fitting. Creating a new entry-level qualification at AQF level 2 for an Accessory Fitter.

BATTERY ELECTRIC VEHICLE REPAIR - Creating new units of competency relating to electric vehicle repair to address new technology/advancements in the industry not currently in the AUR Training Package. Create a new AQF level 3 qualification with two streams to help learners specialise in either light electric vehicles or heavy electric vehicles.

HEAVY VEHICLE TELEMATICS SERVICE & REPAIR - Create new and update existing units of competency related to heavy vehicle telematics systems to address existing skills gaps and new technologies/advancements in the industry in this area.
