We want YOU to help shape the future of DubsTech — our team is seeking University of Washington students of all backgrounds and majors passionate about teaching and creating learning communities to accelerate the growth of student's tech careers.

Each quarter we host a variety of workshops, talks, hackathons and panels. With our senior team graduating, we are looking to recruit and grow the future leaders of the club. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated students who are committed to giving their best for the tech community on campus. Below are the openings we currently have:

[ Director of Corporate Relations ]
Responsible for reaching out to industry professionals to invite them to give talks at UW and for potential workshop collaborations. We expect applicants to have excellent writing and communications skills, and previous experience in a similar field is appreciated but not required.

[ Outreach Director]
Responsible for reaching out to the corporate teams of tech companies for potential sponsorship opportunities.

[ Website Developer ]
Responsible for maintaining the DubsTech website and making updates related to events.

[ Social Media Manager ]
Responsible for maintaining the social media presence of DubsTech and growing it further.

[ Web Development Instructor ]
Responsible for teaching workshops on where students learn how to make different web projects such as mini-arcade games, chat apps, to-do lists and more. We expect applicants to be proficient in web development and experienced with Javascript and knowing React is a bonus!

[ App Development Instructor]
Responsible for teaching workshops on either Android or iOS. We expect all applicants to have completed making at least one complex app.

[ Data Analytics / Data Science Instructor ]
Responsible for teaching workshops where students learn how to complete mini data science case study projects. We expect instructors to be proficient in either Python, R, Power BI, Mathworks or Tableau.

[ UX Design Instructor ]
Responsible for teaching UX design workshops where students will learn how to use different UX Design tools such as Adobe XD, Framer, Origami and more. We expect instructors to be proficient in at least 2 UX Design tools and have a good understanding of design systems and knowing motion design is a bonus!

[ Creative Team ]
Responsible for creating posters and graphics for DubsTech events, branding, and marketing. Creatives receive a letter of recommendation from DubsTech. Do show us your portfolio! If you do not have one, show us some of your work!

[ Protothon Assistant ]
Responsible for the quarter's hackathon duties, this is a short-term position. However, if you'd like to remain in the team long-term, we are open to discussions!
