The Deep Ellum Community Arts Fair is a community-driven 3-day event taking place the first weekend in April on Crowdus Street in Deep Ellum. It offers attendees a chance to explore the vibrant and eclectic culture of Deep Ellum while supporting a wide variety of local artists, artisans, musicians, and performers.
The exciting nature of this event is that it is all grassroots—wanted and created by the Deep Ellum community for the Deep Ellum community. We aim to uphold the legacy of the Deep Ellum Arts Festival that took place for nearly 30 years, while honoring the artists and performers within our local community. Working with and for the neighborhood, this event highlights the small businesses and local talent who make Deep Ellum the "soul" of Dallas.
We will be hosting 4 main music stages this year, and several "busking" stages throughout the fair route. This will allow for approximately 100 performers to be featured at the Fair. 2026 performing artists will be selected through a community jury process, and invitations to participate will be sent beginning in January.
Open to all genres. If YOU play it, we want it!
Original music only. We are not accepting cover or tribute bands.
There is no fee to apply as a performing artist.
