#StageX is a new performing arts program for young people to be held in the October school holidays 2019. It is an opportunity to empower young people, through various performing arts workshops held over four days, culminating in a showcase event which will illustrate the talent of our performers and what they’ve learnt with #StageX.
Our aim is to inspire and empower young people. Encourage them to move forward with self-confidence and gain knowledge and positive life skills through the art of performance. In the week leading up to the showcase they will explore workshops in acting, singing (solo and choral), musical theatre, hip hop and physical theatre. Participants will have the opportunity to be involved in devising their showcase performance and feeling pride and ownership in their creation.
