PHXDW 2026 Conference Breakout/Workshop Submission Form
We’re looking for new and seasoned voices in our community of creative professionals in Arizona to volunteer to conduct breakout sessions or hands-on workshops during the Phoenix Design Week: Orbit Conference on Friday, October 23, 2026, and Saturday, October 24, 2026, held at the Phoenix Convention Center. Anyone can apply to share tips, stories, and skills, whether you’re an old pro or a first-time presenter — if you've got a proposal our creative and curious audiences would love, we'd love to hear it, especially if it ties in well with the "ORBIT" theme. 

This year, we'd like to explore our overlapping circles of connection. Fact is, none of us exist in a bubble — as designers, we rub elbows daily with writers, photographers, developers, colleagues, clients, and all manner of resources to bring our ideas to life. Think about: who's in your orbit and why – who is essential to making your world go 'round? What tools do you use? How do you relate successfully with your adjacent teams and collaborators? We're especially looking for hands-on workshop style sessions with clear takeaways that attendees can put into practice. Preference will be given to proposals that have a clear title and description.

Four Tracks, Sixteen Slots Available
PHXDW Breakout Sessions are held mid-morning and mid-afternoon on each day of the conference. Each time slot is 45 minutes, typically a talk or presentation, and ideally in the form of hands-on learning, practical skills, or live demonstrations. There are only four slots available in each morning or afternoon window, so that's a total of 16 potential breakout sessions to fill. 

For this year, we have designated four topic tracks. You may align your session with one of the tracks or suggest an alternate below. All breakout sessions are complimentary for conference attendees only. There will be no outside admittance for breakouts.
