The first thing we do at LaunchPad is create small, cross disciplinary teams. We find it easiest to do this by breaking the team into three roles: designers, entrepreneurs and developers. Designers understand what users want and design products and services which deliver that. Entrepreneurs identify new and unique business opportunities and imagine how they could be commercially successful. Programmers use code to technically archetype and build apps, websites and hardware products. If you're not sure which you are: don't worry! Trust your gut and pick the one which feels right. *
