Innovation Collection Form
STEP 1: Verify you are submitting an implemented innovation?

Before you continue, verify that you are in the right place. This form is for implemented innovations, not ideas.

  • An implemented innovation is something we have already done that solves a problem, resulting in value for UDOT, its stakeholders and/or customers. See the Why Innovation? page for more information about what is considered an innovation.
  • Ideas are thoughts or suggestions about what is possible and should be submitted on the Ideas Portal.

STEP 2: Review this information

Innovations are added to the Innovation Catalog and are automatically considered for one of the annual UDOT Innovation Awards. Some innovations are highlighted in the annual Innovation & Efficiencies Report.

Once you complete this form we will:

  • Provide technical review
  • Assign ROI values (as available)
  • Contact you if more information is needed

STEP 3: Fill out this form

TIME SAVINGS TIP: Writing a Problem Change Result statement about your innovation and gathering information may take some time. Before filling out this online form, many people find it helpful to, 1) download a copy of the questions (Innovation Submission Worksheet), 2) write their responses separately, and 3) return here to paste answers into this form after they have gathered all necessary information.
