The Remake Learning Days Youth Ambassador Program is an opportunity for teens to help increase awareness, enthusiasm, and attendance at Remake Learning Days events across the state of Pennsylvania! Since 2021, over 160 teens have served as RLD Youth Ambassadors, and we're excited to offer this program once again in 2026. - Who is eligible to apply? Students in grades 9 - 12 are welcome to apply. Applicants must live in the state of Pennsylvania. No prior experience is necessary!
- What do RLD Youth Ambassadors do? As an RLD Youth Ambassador, you will cover two Remake Learning Days events taking place in your region between May 1 - 23, 2026. “Coverage” of an event includes the creation of a short audio event promo, attendance of the event, and an event review.
- How does it work? RLD Youth Ambassadors receive expert guidance from SLB Radio in the form of virtual training and check-in sessions (about 1 - 2 meetings per month from March through May), as well as a digital toolkit with self-help resources. Successful Youth Ambassadors will think creatively and act independently as they create their promos and reviews. Communication is key: students should be ready and able to stay in touch via email in order to communicate their needs and provide feedback.
- Why should I participate? Being a RLD Youth Ambassador is a great way to connect with your community, learn new media skills, and build professional experience. You'll also earn a stipend of up to $250 for the media products you create!
Applications are open through Friday, February 13, 2026. Students residing in central and eastern PA are especially encouraged to apply.
Students who have been selected as ambassadors will be notified by February 20. The RLD Youth Ambassador Program begins in March and runs through June.
