Perform at Grace Cathedral During the Global Climate Action Summit!


Performing artists of all ages are invited to apply to perform an original musical work during the Youth, Music and Climate Action event at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco on 13th September 2018, 7-9 PM PST.

This is an official affiliate event of the Global Climate Action Summit organized by the Global Challenges Action Network (GloCha) and IAAI – the International Association for the Advancement of Innovative Approaches to Global Challenges, a United Nations accredited not-for-profit civil society organization.

The event aims:

- To showcase the power of performing arts in inspiring social change, through live performance and/or video presentations that promote taking action to save the planet and achieve sustainable development
- To create a space during this important historical moment, for young people to elevate their voices and tell their stories
- To promote a culture of low-carbon lifestyles
- To engage the creative community in identifying technical and institutional solutions for empowering youth to take climate action

A key element of the event will be the presentation and discussion of music as a means to inspire and mobilize society for enhanced climate action.

Participants are required to use their own artistic works to represent the importance of taking action to achieve the global goals (, climate action, and a better world.
