Educating The Future Australia - Youth Team Recruitment Application (Session 2, 2019)

Educating The Future (ETF) is seeking undergraduate, postgraduate, and young Australians to join our Youth Team for session 2, 2019 (July 16 - December 20)! If you are a passionate, committed and socially-focused individual with an interest in the not-for-profit sector, this is an excellent opportunity for you to join a dynamic and fast-paced team who are creating opportunities for impoverished Timorese children!

ETF is a youth-led, volunteer organisation that is based in Sydney, Australia and supports impoverished children in Timor-Leste through the provision of preschool education. ETF was founded in 2016, following high-school graduates Adam and Alessandro's 758km walk from Bondi Beach to Byron Bay to recognise the importance of education. After raising $19,165, Adam and Alessandro established ETF in April 2016, registering the organisation with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. Four years later, ETF has constructed its first preschool that has educated 94 children, raised over $250,000 (including funding from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade) and engaged over 100 university students and young Australians aged 17 - 26 in achieving our mission.
