It's time we abolish the grocery tax! Tennessee has one of the highest grocery taxes in the nation while more than half of corporations are paying ZERO in the state's corporate income tax. Rep. Aftyn Behn and Sen. Charlane Oliver have a bill to close offshore tax loopholes and make corporations pay what they owe so we can end the grocery tax all together. That's why we are hosting a statewide weekend of action on Saturday, February 24- Sunday, February 25 to canvass, inform and gather support at our local grocery stores to abolish the grocery tax.
