VAWA NOW! ~ WOMBYN'S UPRISE! December 6th, 2018
December 6th is a Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women! On December 6th we call on ALL Women, and those who show their solidarity with Domestic Violence Survivors, to come join us at 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and show the world, when we are denied dignity and safety, we can stop the world from running. Show your Solidarity by telling Congress to Act NOW on the Violence Against Women's Act (VAWA) with Protection for ALL!

The Violence Against Women's Act (VAWA) has been postponed. Bill HR6545 will renew VAWA until 2023. The VAWA supports federal programs and grants designed to combat Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking of ALL Women.

The VAWA Act was last renewed in 2013. The bill included vital referendums to include Protection measurements to help Prosecute Domestic Violent Perpetrator on Tribal Reservations and Protect Native American Women. An amendment also included measurements to help Protect Transgender Women and Illegal Immigrants. Women who are the most impacted by Violence.
