4-H Arts-In Student Director Application - Due April 9
Application Process
Read the following job description and complete the form below. Applications are due April 9th. The other registration forms and fees will need to be submitted at a later date. The Director(s) will select the student directors. Student directors will be required to attend Director/Student Director planning meetings before the encampment (dates and times to be determined).

Job Description
In cooperation with the other student directors and the advice/support of the Director(s), you will help “put together the show” by participating in script development, music selection, and a specific area of interest (performing, costuming, technical, or band).
Additionally as a Student Director you will:
- Attend all planning meetings
- Lead small groups and conduct warm-ups
- Ensure ALL participants are welcomed and included
- Help develop and model the ground rules of the encampment
-Take on a leadership role in one specific major of the program (as agreed upon by other S.D.’s and directors)
- Develop and lead team building activities (and fun stuff)
- Prepare participants for each show.
- Other duties as mutually agreed upon.

Arts-In encampment 2021 will occur on July 18-21. The 2021 Washington County Fair is August 4 - 8. There will be a brush-up rehearsal before the state fair. As a student director, it is required you set a good example by being on time to all performances and rehearsals.
