Mission Statement: The IMS volleyball camp is a four-day camp that will focus on the fundamentals of volleyball through individual drills, group drills, station work and games. Our goal is that each player will develop their individual skills, ability to work together on a team, have an enjoyable experience and gain a greater understanding of the game.
Camp Director, Tanna Boshart, is entering her first season as the Head Coach, but she is no stranger to the IMS program. She is a graduate of IMS (2003) and spent 10 prior seasons in various roles as a varsity assistant and JV coach. As a player, Tanna was a part of the 2001 team that not only made a State appearance, but is also ranked second all time for wins in a season. Boshart also garnished All-Conference Honors and served as a two-year starter.
Camp Staff, Kyla Wiebe, is a graduate of IMS and played collegiately at Hesston College and Goshen College. Wiebe was a 3 year varsity letter winner and starter at IMS. She also played club volleyball for 4 years and played an integral part of the team that made it to nationals. Kyla brings a strong understanding of the game as she has played many different positions during her volleyball career.
Other StaffBoth current and former varsity players will be on staff during camp sessions.
