After joining the program, you can contribute based on your strengths and interests. Here are several ways to contribute:
✍️ Content Creators: Write technical blogs, publish tutorials, or create demo videos that showcase real-world use cases of Milvus.
💬 Community Advocates: Share insights, answer questions, and engage with developers across platforms like X, LinkedIn, Reddit, etc.
🎙 Event Hosts or Speakers: Organize local meetups or give talks at online/offline events to introduce Milvus and vector database technology.
🧑💻 Developer Support: Help fellow developers troubleshoot and grow on channels like Stack Overflow, Discord, Quora, or Reddit.
Become a Milvus Polaris
Candidates who join Milvus Ambassador Program become Milvus Polaris to recognize their effort in growing Milvus community.
To gain and maintain the Milvus Polaris status, you need to pick a track and complete the track requirements within every 12-month:
Content creation: Publish 3 high-quality blog posts or 2 technical demo videos
Community support: Share 5 original social posts mentioning Milvus or 20 eligible replies across community channels (Reddit / Stackoverflow/ Discord, etc.) to help other Milvus users
Local community: Host 1 event or speak at 2 Milvus-related sessions or grow 5 local Milvus community members
You’re welcome to focus on one track—or wear multiple hats as your time and passion allow. You can also switch tracks at any time. We’ll provide onboarding, resources, and support to help you through the journey.
