This application is part one of the Resident Advisor Selection Process. We will review candidate applications along with the essay (submitted at end of this application) and determine which candidates will progress to part two of the selection process. The essays will be evaluated on the following criteria: depth, grammar/completeness, and overall quality. Candidates will be notified prior to winter break of the status of their application.
Candidates that progress to the next step of the selection process will participate in Res Life 101, which is a four part leadership workshop. Hiring decisions will be based on performance during this class.

Qualifications for the Resident Advisor position are as follows:
1. 2.5 semester and cumulative GPA (individuals that do not have a GPA at time of application should still apply, but must meet the minimum after first semester grades are posted).
2. Candidates must be in good judicial standing with the university. Candidates cannot be on university probation at the time of application.
3. Ability to make the RA position a priority among non academic commitments.
4. You must be able to serve as an RA for both the fall and spring terms of next year.
