Raise the Age Lobby Day and Ambassador Trainings

Join us for a Day of Advocacy at the State House or in your own home town to advocate with your state legislators in support of legislation to end the automatic prosecution of older teens as adults. With a July 31st deadline, this is the time for an all-out push to advance the bill.

Please sign up for a team to join for meetings with several legislators representing your county. You will receive talking points, meeting tips and a packet of information to share with the legislators you meet with. 

Three ways to participate:

(Optional) Raise the Age Ambassador Training: Attend one of two virtual trainings on how to talk about Raise the Age, tips on meeting with legislators at the State House or in your home town, and how to respond to frequently asked questions.

State House: Meet at the State House and join the team you chose below and meet with legislators or their aides in their offices

In-District: Meet with your legislators in your home town during their office hours (typically in a local library or coffee shop).

Raise the Age Ambassador Training
Two trainings will be held with campaign organizers to get tips about meeting with legislators, key talking points and how to answer FAQs. You will also have the opportunity to ask your own questions. Both trainings will cover the same content and you will need to register on zoom to get the link. The trainings will NOT be recorded.
