ACEL Special General Meeting RSVP
Who are we?
The Australian Coalition to End Loneliness (ACEL) aims to raise awareness of, and address loneliness and physical social isolation through evidence-based interventions and advocacy. With a focus on both loneliness and physical social isolation, ACEL is involved in advocacy for improved social access, as well as supporting services and agencies to be effective in recognizing and addressing loneliness in the community. Inspired by the work of the UK Campaign to End Loneliness and international research evidence of the physiological, psychological, social and economic costs of loneliness and social isolation, ACEL has drawn together research expertise from Australian and international universities, service delivery expertise from not-for-profit organisations and government agencies, community groups and skilled volunteers, in order to address loneliness in Australia.
Event Address: WayAhead, 501/80 William Street, Woolloomooloo NSW 2011
