DBIO Focus Session Proposal - 2022 March Meeting
Focus sessions consist of 1-2 invited talks plus 9-11 contributed talks on a topic of current interest in the community. Please note: Unlike prior years, you do not need to identify invited speakers at this time. You will have the ability to do this at a later date.
A successful submission typically includes a detailed discussion of why the topic of the session is interesting to the DBIO community and why it is timely. A proposal should estimate the session expected attendance, and explain how this number was arrived at. Attendance numbers for the prior years' Focus Sessions with similar topics often are good predictors of the future success.
*Note, If you are interested in organizing a pre-identified Focus Session in the general areas of Evolutionary & Ecological Dynamics, Immune Sensing & Response, Macromolecular Phase Separation, Mechanics of Cells and Tissues, Biological Active Matter, Cytoskeleton, Proteins, Animal Behavior and Social Interactions, Robophysics, Genome organization, Biomaterials, Biofilms, or Neural systems - Please use this expedited form:
