Broadening Participation 2021 Professional Development Application for SICB Annual Meeting

Thank you for your interest in the SICB Professional Development Program (PDP). Many of you are familiar with the Broadening Participation Travel Grants which for this year, we have renamed as PDP. This program is as inclusive as the travel grants and all career stages may apply. Please carefully fill out this application if you are seeking funds to participate in the virtual annual meeting from January 3rd through February 28th, 2021. Professional Development Awards are capped at $300. We request that applicants make the case for how the funds will enable them to attend and facilitate their participation in the virtual meeting. Please note that these applications will only be viewed by those members on the Broadening Participation Committee and identities will be deleted from all documents after awardees have been chosen. All applications submitted by Friday, Dec 11th @ 5pm in your local time zone will be evaluated.
