YOUTH OPEN MIC REQUEST TO PERFORM 
The Youth Open Mic is a free, monthly event that creates a welcoming and supportive space for young songwriters, musicians, and poets to share their work. 

The next Youth Open Mic takes place on Sunday, April 12 at the Broom Factory , starting at 1pm .  Admission is free.

This month's open mic performance slots are currently FULL! Thanks to all that submitted early. 
If you would like to join our waiting list, please contact music@tourismkingston.com . 
We encourage you to wait and if spots open at the last minute, you can perform.

Whether you're a seasoned performer or stepping onto the stage for the first time, the Youth Open Mic is your platform to showcase your creativity and passion. It's also a fantastic opportunity to connect with other local youth musicians. Bring your family and friends, admission is free!

Performers may be able to perform 1-2 songs. You will have approx. 5-7 minutes. How many pieces would you like to perform?

We'll have a mic + patch cord for your instrument. Do you require any specific help setting up? What instrument or instruments will you use? Duos are welcome to perform too.

Are you interested in a mentorship session with our host before the show? The mentorship sessions are held between 12 -1pm and are 10 to 15 minutes each. This mentorship session will allow you to run through your piece before the event begins. 

Mentorship sessions are currently full for this session.
