The People's Revival: Sign Up

Black people are being left out of the political processes that decide our lives. The offices that decide them — From members of Congress to sheriff, prosecutor, county commission, state legislature — they are all on this midterm ballot, and they are decided by the fewest voters.

PNBC's goal and strategy is to reach out to infrequent Black voters in battleground states between now and Election Day. You can sign up as a church, or as an individual. You do not have to be a member of a PNBC congregation — if you want to do this work, there's a place for you.

For Churches:

Sunday Postcards. Congregations can write postcards during service and place them in the collection plate. PNBC will supply the list of voters, the script and the template. We are asking churches to commit to at least One Sunday, one post card offering: October 4th, 11th, 18th or 25th.

Souls to the Polls: Pick a Sunday or day (if your state does not have Sunday voting) in October's early voting period and vote as a church! We have a short toolkit with a liturgy and talking points (just in case you havve not done this work 

Churches and Members

Monday Text Banks. Join Movement Mondays and text infrequent voters, from your fellowship hall or from your kitchen table. You'll use a secure platform — your personal phone number is never exposed. We train you first, and the training is ninety minutes.

If you're signing up a church: please fill out the form for your church with a contact for the person leading your work. 

If you're signing up yourself: pick a lane and give us ninety minutes on Mondays. You can do this from anywhere in the country.

This work is non-partisan. We lift up the offices and the issues on the ballot. We never support or oppose any candidate, party or ballot measure.
