If you or your scout plan to attend summer camp, please review the materials circulated in connection with the link to this form and complete this form as fully as possible. Separate forms should be used for each member of your household attending summer camp. If you have any questions there are resources available on the Camp A website (www.pikespeakbsa.org) that may be of assistance; you are also welcome to contact me by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. Note that certain classes require preparation prior to camp, have pre-requisites, age limits, etc. -- it is the scout's responsibility to take these requirements into account when making their selections.
All first year scouts will automatically be enrolled in Camp A’s First Class Center Program for Tenderfoot and Second Class requirements (which takes 2 class periods) as well as two pre-determined Merit Badge classes (likely first aid and swimming).
Please complete this registration form promptly. I will try register the troop as early as possible so that each scout gets his preferred merit badge choices but some classes or programs may fill up. Older scouts interested in high adventure activities at Camp A should register as soon as possible -- this program is first-come, first-served and they are likely to fill up quickly.
The costs for summer camp are outlined in the informational materials circulated in connection with the parent meeting. Note that some classes and activities have additional costs which are detailed in the materials available on the Camp A website. Payment for Camp A fees and travel costs will be deducted from each scout's account with the troop. Contributions to scout accounts can be made at: http://troop889bsa.org/payments.
Additional information regarding collection of BSA health forms, the date and location for BSA swim tests, packing lists, etc. will be forthcoming.
