The American Chamber of Commerce in South Sudan aims to further development of commerce & trade between South Sudan, the USA, and the rest of the world. It also seeks to promote the interest of its members in trade and investment.
Through lobbying and negotiations, the organization has secured grants donation from the World Bank and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in collaboration with the government of South Sudan and the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO). These grants will be disbursed to qualified applicants to empower their businesses and various projects across the sectors of South Sudan to prosper economic growth.
Objectives of the Economic Empowerment Program
The main objectives of this economic initiative are:

2. To strengthen our economic recovery process.
3. To expand our economic opportunities by exploring continental and global markets.
4. To promote the growth of locally produced goods and services.
5. To expand access to information, communications and technology.
6. To increase access to funding for Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs)
7. To promote technology and innovation
