Supporting Students Through Challenges: Workshop Series (MIIS)
This 4-week, one hour workshop series will help participants to support students struggling with overwhelming emotions.
I: Understanding Common Mental Health Challenges
II: Supportive Listening Skills
III: Managing Student Mental Health Crises
IV: Balancing Support and Accountability and Other Supportive Classroom Strategies
The series will be facilitated by, Madeline Hope, Assistant Director of Health and Wellness Education (Office in Middlebury, Vermont). Participants will be gathered together for workshop sessions, the facilitator will present remotely with the assistance of an in-room co-facilitator. More information to follow regarding logistics.
