National Reunion Call for Contributions
The National Reunion is driven by the passions and talents of the Truman community! Help make this your reunion: Read below and then fill out the form with your ideas and proposals. DEADLINE FEBRUARY 28. Email with any questions.
Panels, Workshop & Plenaries
Trumans are invited to submit an application to HOST a panel, plenary or workshop. We welcome a range of proposals, but preference will be given to submissions that:
* Appeal to a broad range of Truman Scholar attendees (room sizes range from 30 to 200 people, ages range from 20s to 60s).
* Address a personal or professional topic of interest to the community, or propose a networking activity designed to help attendees meet and interact with other Trumans. Professional topics can include "policy" or "issue" areas, as well professional development.
* Are highly interactive.
* Last no more than 90 minutes, with shorter formats welcome.
* Have all-Truman panelists/facilitators.

Please note:
* We typically receive far more proposals than we have space. We may ask you to combine or rework you proposal in an attempt to accommodate as many applicants as possible. Even then, some proposals may not be accepted. It's not you - it's us.
* All Truman participants must still purchase a ticket.
* All panels, workshops and plenaries will take place on Saturday July 21. See for a TENTATIVE schedule.
* You can submit multiple ideas, but each Truman will typically only host or facilitate at most one event, to ensure broad participation and representation among attendees.
* You will be asked to confirm participants at a later date. If you cannot confirm enough hosts/facilitators for the type of event, we may have to withdraw or alter your event.

Keynote Speakers
While TSA has already pursued keynote speaker invitations, we welcome additional suggestions, especially if you have a personal connection (or you're the prospective keynote!). Keynote speakers will speak on either Friday night July 20, or Saturday July 21. Based on feedback from the Truman community, keynotes should:
* Be a Truman Scholar
* Have not keynoted a previous National Reunion (National Conference) - former panelists or plenary speakers are welcome
* Have earned significant prominence & recognition in their profession, even if they are not well known within the Truman community
Thursday Evening Reception Host
The Thursday evening reception, tentatively scheduled for 6PM July 19, is hosted and sponsored by a Truman and/or their associated organization/company.

Hosts provide an in-kind donation of reception space in Washington, DC and/or food/beverages as a way of welcoming the Truman community to the reunion weekend. Hosts receive prominent recognition for their sponsorship during the Reunion.

Multiple or joint hosting proposals are welcome. Hosts do not have to be based in Washington.

Organization and individual sponsorships help to offset the cost of the reunion and ensure that ticket prices are affordable for a wide range of Trumans to participate.

We offer various levels of sponsorship, with associated benefits. Please see for details.

You can also sponsor a fellow Truman to attend the Reunion when you buy your ticket. Look for the "All Access with Sponsorship" or "Cannot Attend but Wish to Sponsor a Scholar" options on the Registration page -

Photographers & Videographers
We are looking for Trumans to serve as official photographers and videographers to help capture the Reunion events. You do not need to be a professional photographer or videographer, but these are welcome. Multiple individuals will be selected, to ensure you can still participate in the Reunion! Please note that selected photographers/videographers will still be required to purchase a ticket.
