Guided Group Tour Request Form

This form is not for student groups, Field Trips for student groups can be booked on our Learn page.

The Capital Jewish Museum is pleased to offer one-hour guided group tours of our Ongoing Exhibitions and Special Exhibitions given by trained tour guides.

Ongoing Exhibitions:

  • What is Jewish Washington? (History Gallery)
  • The Historic Sanctuary (1876) with a film about early Jewish Washington
  • Connect. Reflect. Act. (Core gallery with several different exhibition spaces and interactive opportunities)
Special Exhibition:
  • LGBTJews in the Federal City - Now through January 4th 2026

Please Note: The Capital Jewish Museum is unable to schedule tours more than 6 months away.

Entrance to the special exhibition is included in the cost of the tour.

Optional add-on to a One Hour Tour of Ongoing Exhibitions: Self-guided visit to the special exhibition, LGBTJews in the Federal City (We suggest allowing at least one hour for self-guided exploration)

This tour can only be done in addition to the Ongoing Exhibitions tour.

Tours are offered Wednesday through Sunday during regular museum hours. 
The Museum's hours are Wednesday- Sunday: 10:00 am- 5:00 pm.

Reservation and Payment

This Guided Group Tour Request Form should be submitted at least one month prior to your intended tour date. Inquiries made less than one month prior may not be accommodated. 

A $50 nonrefundable reservation fee is required to secure the time and date for your group tour. This fee applies towards your group's total. 

Final payments must be completed at least 7 days prior to your tour. This is a nonrefundable reservation. In the event of a cancellation, we will work to provide alternative options to fit your group’s needs. 

Getting to the Lillian and Albert Small Capital Jewish Museum
The Lillian and Albert Small Capital Jewish Museum is located at 575 3rd Street NW, at the corner of 3rd & F Streets. 

Directions and Parking:
Metro: Take the Red Line to Judiciary Square station and take the National Building Museum exit out of the station. Upon exiting, walk one block east to the corner of 3rd and F Streets.

There is a public parking garage at the corner of 3rd & G Streets. 

Arrival:
Groups enter and exit through the F Street Entrance (handicap accessible). Their tour guide will meet them in the Morris Loeb Lobby.  

Please arrive at the museum 10 minutes before your scheduled tour time.

The Lillian and Albert Small Capital Jewish Museum reserves the right to reschedule tours for groups that fail to arrive within 20 minutes of their scheduled tour time.    
Completion of this form is not confirmation of your tour. A Museum staff member will contact you by email within 3 business days.
