Pursuant to Rule 6A-10.089 (5), F.A.C., Seminole County Public Schools requires parental authorization prior to students participating in school sponsored events and activities. Each student participating in the event or activity listed below must have this form completed and submitted prior to participating.
Description of the Event or Activity: To build a strong community and teach students how to be strong leaders through our four pillars of scholarship, service, community, and character. Students are held to high expectations and standards both within the school and within the community and we provide community service to our local and sometimes not so local communities, as well as Lyman High School. We have four pillars - scholarship, leadership, service and character. These pillars guide all our activities, how students are inducted and remain in the organization.
We volunteer in the community. Road cleanups on Ronald Reagan through adopt a road that I organize, we provide support at Lyman High School, we provide support to the wrestling tournaments, we help the rotary club during arts and wine, celebrate the season in December, Alzheimer’s walk in October, Shriners 5k in March, bell ringing with rotary and the Salvation Army in December, tutoring at Lyman high school and many more things.
Date(s) and Time(s): Monday, As an organization once a month, the officer meet once a month, the committees meet more frequently throughout the month, as an organization we will hold inductions for new and old members on September 19, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
Location: As an organization we meet in the media center however my officers and committee members meet in my classroom.
