Festival Dates: Friday, July 26th Saturday, July 27th Sunday, July 28th Festival Break Down: Monday, July 29th
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2019 XPoNential Festival! All applications are considered; however, referrals, continued years of experience volunteering at XPoNential, and flexible availability will influence your placement on an XPoNential Volunteer Team. **INDIVIDUALS MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO VOLUNTEER**
As a volunteer you will have access to performances at Wiggins & BB&T, before and after shifts, on each day that you volunteer. Volunteer shifts are available from Wednesday through Monday in a variety of areas. The Wednesday, Thursday and Monday shifts (pre & post-fest) require physical labor. If you are unable to lift items over 25 pounds or be on your feet and moving for most of a shift, then your skills and time would be better suited elsewhere.
Volunteer shifts are between 3 and 4 hours long on Friday through Sunday, during the festival. Setup and Breakdown shifts may be longer (up to 6 hours-including a break), because they will not overlap with performances. For each non-festival day (Wednesday, Thursday or Monday) that you volunteer, you will have the option to attend the festival on one day of your choice. In this case, attendance can only be redeemed for you and cannot be transferred for another individual to attend.
We will consider your preferences and if selected to volunteer will do our best to place you according to those preferences. However, if your availability and skills do not match where our needs are, we may be unable to place you on a shift. **VOLUNTEER JOB DESCRIPTIONS** Please refer to the below descriptions as you select the areas where you are interested in volunteering.
