Participation Guidelines:
Recitation of original poem/spoken word at the poetry slam on November 03, 2025, to be judged
Participant will have the opportunity to recite one poem or musical selection.
Only one performer/ group on stage at a time
Each performer has 3–5 minutes to share their piece (poem, song, spoken
word, or instrumental).
Hosts may provide a gentle reminder when time is
almost up.
Share your own
poetry, lyrics, or music if possible — it’s your voice we want to
hear!
Covers are welcome; just credit the original
artist.
This is a welcoming
space for all backgrounds, cultures, and identities.
Avoid language or content that targets,
demeans, or disrespects others. (Hate speech, explicit slurs, or material
promoting discrimination or violence will not be tolerated
