Writing Workshop with Anissa Bouziane: “Memory and Story”
Memory and Story: Riding the line between reality and fiction

Writers of all abilities often go to memory as the source of inspiration for their work, be it fiction or memoir. Yet how does one shape memory into story? How do we fashion the sensory impressions and the wealth of emotions associated with memory into the building blocks of story? Even our earliest memories can be shaped into plot, character, and setting. Bring your favorite pen, a writing notebook, and a desire to write about what was, what could have been, or what might have been."
