Looking for experts in areas that affect a city or town...
Over the last few years we grew - almost by mistake - an idea into what today is used by over 455 cities, towns and organisations to help residents and communities in over 29 countries, from Afghanistan to Nigeria to South Africa to Italy to Spain, etc. Today we are one of the largest  free online academies in the world (you won't hear from us as we don't do social media and the actual academies are promoted in the various cities' names).

Our focus was always on helping residents, but on the back of this track record we have been asked to help extend our offering to the amazing people that work in towns, villages and municipalities with the knowledge they need to improve on their ability to deliver services to their residents.

We are looking for experts or experienced people who have practical and useful knowledge to share... for example:

  • You have setup and run amazing programs to help the elderly in a town.
  • You did awesome projects in terms of tackling youth unemployment
  •  You are at the forefront in terms of what innovations exist in water purification systems
  • You have great practical suggestions on how to change behaviour of people towards more sustainability
  • You improved fire response and prevention in informal settlements
  • You improved food safety for informal food traders
  • You have experience with public private partnerships
  • You have practical tips on creating a more engaged resident body
  • You did awesome programs to stimulate tourism in the area

If that is of interest then I am inviting you to DONATE 1hour of your time once off to be interviewed (virtually) by us. There is nothing to prepare on your side. We will interview you and after the interview edit it and share with you for approval. Once ready we then upload it as a free course to all municipalities.

A few important points:
  1. There is NO compensation for this but HUGE PR potential for you (your interview will be shown in 451 cities). Here's an example of a recent interview: https://www.thestartuptribe.org/courses/understanding-economy
  2. You are NOT allowed to sell services. The idea is that you are sharing your knowledge and experience in an easy to understand and practical way to empower people to see the opportunities or solutions. If a municipality then wishes to reach out to you we will have your contact details on the interview page, but the idea is NOT to sell but to help people understand the practical options that are out there! Having said that, your website/linkedin etc will be on the interview page so those who do wish to reach out can. See https://www.thestartuptribe.org/courses/buyingafranchise as an example.
  3. Keep the language EASY to understand. The idea is to help and not impress so we try and leave technical words, acronyms and jargon at the door, at least for the interview :-)

Ok. Interested?
Next step is to fill out this form (so we know what to interview you on) and then we will get in touch with you to setup a date/time that works for you.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for considering contributing to this project!
Here's to making a difference in the world!
