Classes will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from July 22nd to Aug 14th from 6:15pm to 8:15pm at Hanifl Performing Arts Center. Monday classes will be in the classroom and Black Box and Wednesdays will be in the classroom space. The Showcase will be on August 19th at 7:30 pm - plan to arrive at 6 to warm up and practice. We will perform on stage at 7:30 pm.
There will be multiple performance opportunities! Performances are not mandatory.
Price does not include the uniform.
The uniform is a CPA T-shirt which prior participants of Show Choir already own. Pricing for the uniform shirt is $20 if ordered by July 24th. Please note: shirts ordered mid-season will have an additional $10 shipping fee added if we don't have a needed shirt size in stock. The Show Choir Uniform Shirts have a unique fit due to their style type. We recommend trying on sample shirts the first night of rehearsal.
There will be 8 rehearsals and multiple performances.
The registration fee will be $25 (this is only paid once per calendar year) and the participation fee is $160. This program is open to all children that have completed 5th grade through 12th grade. We may be able to make exceptions for CPA alumni or for children willing to audition (these exceptions are made by request).
Each participant will be required to pay a $50 deposit for their music. The check will be held and shredded after the music is returned in like new condition. You may write on the music with pencil if you erase all marks before returning the music.
