The ALSA Community Involvement Scholarship

Value: 3 Scholarships of $500 each

Criteria:

• Student enrolled in an LLB or JD program at an ALSA-affiliated university
• Demonstrated commitment to serving and improving their local community, with an emphasis on Australian programs, as well as programs operating on a local scale and/or in regional areas.

Supporting Documentation:
• Up to 500 word written application outlining their involvement in their local community
• Support letter from their community organisation.

Further documents that support the application may be requested at the discretion of the Alumni & Scholarships Officer.

Privacy and Submission
Your privacy is very important to us. Your application will be received by the Alumni & Scholarship Officer via this form. Please email your supporting letter to alumnischolarship@alsa.asn.au with your name in the subject line

• Your application will be anonymised before it is considered by the ALSA IPP.
• Applications must be submitted to the Alumni and Scholarship Officer by no later than 5pm Friday, 25 August 2017.
• Applicants will be notified on or before 13 September 2017.

As part of being awarded this scholarship, the recipients and their community organisation will be publicised in various ALSA media channels.
