Personal data provided by you will be used by School of Chinese (SoC) for the purposes of handling your registration as a participant of SoC seminars/ workshops/ programmes/ events or for the purposes as described in the data collection form.

Personal data will be kept confidential and handled by SoC staff members. The data may also be used for the compilation of statistics on the number and nature of SoC seminars/ workshops/ programmes/ events. The outcome of the resulting statistics will not be in a form that will identify your registration and any of your personal data.

Applications for access to and correction of personal data should be made in writing and on payment of a fee if necessary. Such applications as well as requests for information should be addressed to School of Chinese’s Personal Data Protection Coordinator by email to chinese@hku.hk.
