Off-Campus Composting Program
WashU Green Ambassadors, Burning Kumquat, and Student Sustainability Board, and Student Environmental Council is excited to be expanding our residential compost program to our off campus students!

We developed this option for students* who are not living in the South 40 to be able to collect compost in their homes and bring it to a central on-campus collection site. Upon signing up, you will receive a compost container we sourced from local grocery stores and with a poster with everything you need to know to start composting!

This is the first off-campus compost program at WashU, please email ---- if you have any ideas, comments, or questions! We would love if you help us share this program with your friends!

*NOTE: The pilot is currently open to any WashU-affiliated person who is interested in dropping their materials at the approved location.

We will have a central location on campus for you to be able to drop off your compost. Will you be able to do this? *
We will be sending out how-to posters with specific directions on what can and cannot be included in your compost collection. To keep our compost stream clean, would you make sure to teach and share our poster with everyone who will be using the compost bin?
