As a fan-driven pop culture event, we look for programming and presentations that appeal to a wide range of interests. Our core focus, however, is on the following topics:

ANIME & MANGA
Japanese cartoons, graphic novels, anime-adjacent animation, Korean light novels, etc.

ASIAN CULTURE

Travel presentations, local customs, traditions, history, etc.

COSPLAY
Cosplay is for everyone, so showcasing the culture in new creative ways sparks excitement in fandom! Topics from costume creation to maintaining your brand as a cosplayer are among potential discussion points.

FASHION

EGL, J-Fashion, collectible clothing, kimonos, etc.

INDUSTRY

Voice acting, hosting conventions & festivals, film/television/event production, etc.

MUSIC

Presentations about music culture including Kpop, Nerdcore, Chiptunes, etc. If you're interested in performing and don't feel your style falls under kaigai idol (aka IdolFest) then you can submit your info under this category.

ONLINE LIFESTYLE

Streaming, Vtubers, TikTok trends, etc.

TABLETOP GAMING
Presentations about board, card, and all manner of tabletop games are welcome. This can range from the creative development process to demonstrations and more.

WORKSHOPS

These can apply to any of the other categories, but - instead of a panel room - you need space for participants to work on tables with supplies. Please denote if you are supplying or charging a fee under the "Anything else you'd like to tell us?" question below. Things like dance workshops (and RDPs/Random Dance Plays) and Gunpla build sessions would fall under this category.

VIDEO GAMES
Video games are a massive part of modern entertainment. Topics here include everything from genres, platforms, cultural impact and more.

Tech Requirements *

Panel Rooms all have, at minimum:
- A TV or Projector/Screen with an HDMI for plugging in a laptop/tablet.
- At least one (1) microphone.
- Speakers with a 3.5mm audio cable for plugging in a laptop/tablet.

Space for Workshops and Dance Presentations (including RDPs, etc.) will have, at minimum:
- At least one (1) microphone.
- Speakers with a 3.5mm audio cable for plugging in a laptop/tablet.

You are responsible for any and all adaptors to connect to the audio cable and HDMI in the room with your laptop, tablet, or cell phone. (We're looking at you, Mac users.) These are not supplied by the convention.
