The LGBTQ+ Equity Workgroup plans Medford Pride. It meets the third Tuesday of each month from 10am - 11:30am remotely via zoom. The group communicates via email between meetings to work on projects. As we get closer to June, there may be additional monthly meetings needed.

Medford Pride is an inclusive, family friendly, antiracist, and trans-affirming community-led event. This annual event is planned by community members, with administrative support from SO Health-E, the Health Equity Coalition of Southern Oregon.

The mission of Medford Pride 2023 is to celebrate the diversity of the local Queer community and the people who support and uplift us. We do this by providing a safe space to engage with other community members, support services, and allies.

We work to promote unity, inclusion, awareness and a sense of broad community for Queer individuals, their families, and allies.

We are committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for our community. Event volunteers are expected to help to promote and maintain an environment that is welcoming and affirming for queer and trans people, people of color, people with disabilities, low income people and people of all ages.
