**PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING CHANGES**

1. WE WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT WALK-IN REGISTRANTS
2. ALL CONTESTANTS MUST PREREGISTER AND SUBMIT THE PAGEANT FEE AT THE SAME TIME
3. ALL APPLICATIONS ARE TIME SENSITIVE AND ARE TIME STAMPED THE MOMENT THEY ARE SUBMITTED; WHICH MEANS WE WILL KNOW THE APPLICATIONS THAT ARE SUBMITTED FIRST.
4. WE WILL ONLY HAVE **10** CONTESTANTS IN EACH AGE DIVISION - THIS GIVES THE CONTESTANT A BETTER OPPORTUNITY FOR THEIR PAGEANT PRESENTATION ON STAGE.
5. ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT FEBRUARY 4TH, 2019
6. ALL CONTESTANTS MUST BEGIN CHECKING IN AT 9:00 A.M. AND BE PREPARED TO BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 10:00 A.M.

**WE HAVE MADE THESE CHANGES DUE TO THE COST OF OUR PAGEANT. WE CAN NO LONGER AFFORD TO PURCHASE CROWNS/TROPHIES/SASHES/RIBBONS AND ETC AND HAVE CONTESTANTS NOT SHOW UP EVEN AFTER REGISTERING. WE ARE A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT EXISTS ONLY THROUGH FUNDRAISERS AND DONATIONS, LOSSES ARE VERY COSTLY TO OUR ORGANIZATION. WE PUT A LOT OF TIME, EFFORT, LOVE, WORK AND EXPENSE TO MAKE OUR PAGEANT VERY SPECIAL AND ELEGANT FOR ALL OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CONTESTANTS**.

Raise The Praise The Sweetheart Classic Pageant will not be responsible for any injury, accident, or mishaps associated with travel to and from pageant, while at hosting venue, or during competition in the pageant. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. The parent/guardian is solely responsible for the safety and well-being of their child/children during any function of the pageant. All decisions made by judges are final; no changes are allowed and judges area is off limits to pageant attendees. Points and/ or disqualification may result if found hovering over judges and poor sportsmanship/behaviors are witnessed by pageant staff. No refund will be given. All contestants are expected to be on time; the pageant will not wait for any late contestants, and points will be deducted for out-of-order contestants. Child must compete within the age division of contestant's age on the day of the pageant; however, we reserve the right to combine age groups where necessary. Upon registering, parent's signature serves to certify age, and Raise The Praise The Sweetheart Classic Pageant reserves the right to request a birth certificate if age is questionable. Registration fees are non-refundable. Your child's image may be used in promotional media including television, website, printed material and other venues. By registering, you agree to follow the rules and regulations set by Raise The Praise The Sweetheart Classic Pageant and the hosting venue. ** Trophies sponsored: O'Reilly's Auto Parts. Trophies have been donated by O'Reilly's to Raise The Praise Productions, Inc; a 501 c3 nonprofit organization, to use in the pageant fundraiser for Raise The Praise Productions, Inc. All proceeds from this pageant will be donated to Raise The Praise to assist with the outreach activities the organization does for communities and toward the annual free Christian festival. *

READ CAREFULLY: CHECK IN FOR ALL CONTESTANTS WILL BEGINS AT 9:00 A.M. AND ENDS AT 9:45 A.M. FOR ALL AGE CATEGORIES. THE PAGEANT BEGINS AT 10:00 A.M. BEGINNING WITH THE 6-12 MONTH AGE CATEGORY AND THE OTHER AGE CATEGORIES WILL FOLLOW. THE 6 -12 MONTH CATEGORY WILL BE JUDGED THEN CROWNED, ALL THE OTHER AGE CATEGORIES WILL BE JUDGED AND THEN CROWNED AT THE END OF THE ALL THE AGE CATEGORY COMPETITION. Competition Info: Each age division will be judged on the following: Stage presence, prettiest smile, eyes, hair, facial beauty, dress/attire, & personality. For each age division there will be a Crowning Queen, which is 1st place. Runners up are 2nd place & 3rd place. Trophies/awards will be handed out at the end of the pageant competition all the age competition **EXCEPT** for the 6-12 month, they will receive their trophies/awards after their age category competition judging. Everyone that participates in our pageant will go home with a participation gift! RULES: *Entry fees are non-refundable *All Judges scores are final *Poor Sportsmanship from the contestants and or parents/guardians will NOT be tolerated and could result in disqualification *Each Contestant is allowed >1< adult chaperone in the dressing area, no professional hair or makeup artists are allowed to offer services in dressing area. *Providing false information will result in disqualification *Please minimize any coaching over age 4 *Coaching after age 4, will result in point deduction *No approaching the judges before or during the competition *No Glamour type photos allowed, they will be disqualified *No Glitzy dresses/attire *By registering your child as a contestants, the parents/guardians give RTP the right to use their (parents/guardians) name and the name of their child/children and their child/children's pictures for publicity without any compensation *Dress Guidelines*: *Keep it Simple and Classy *NO "glitz" *Light makeup *Age appropriate attire, hairstyles etc... *NO false teeth, hair, tans, eyelashes, nails etc... *Dresses cannot be "glitzy glamour" -- NO EXCEPTIONS - please DO NOT bring your child with glitzy/glamour attire, they will not be able to compete. (Google Glitzy Dresses) *Appropriate dress includes **BUT** ''excludes'' casual wear: A Sunday Best -> ( like an Easter Dress), Flower Girl dress, Evening Wear (short or long), or Pageant dress. Outfit suitable for boys include suit & tie, ring-bearer suit, Sunday Best. Read explanation at the end for clarity. *Breaking any of the rules will reduce your score by 50%. *We reserve the right to check all contestants before they take the stage. The pageant attire for natural beauty pageants is tasteful and can have ''some'' sparkle to it; but is not overly ornate. Off-the-rack is what natural pageants look for. Off-the-rack means something that can be found and purchased in a department store, not a designer created dress/attire. In natural pageants, the child and their appropriate age attire can be frilly, subtly embellished (meaning delicate decorations, some sparkle) long or short and compliments the child's beauty. The dress/ attire is to always bring attention back to the one wearing it, not the other way around. That is what judges look for and the judges for this pageant are acutely aware of natural pageant attire. From 0-3 years old, parents may accompany their child.
