Teen Summer Volunteer Application Summer 2019
Thanks for your interest in the Teen Summer Volunteer program at the Princeton Public Library! Teen Summer Volunteers support our youth programming from June 14, 2019 through September 1, 2019—our Teen Summer Volunteers provide a huge service to the library and the community, and we have a lot of fun!

Current Princeton Public Library cardholders entering grades 8-12 (2019-2020) are eligible to participate. Our program has limited capacity. Learn more about obtaining a library card at princetonlibrary.org/about/library-cards.

To create a more interactive and rewarding volunteer experience, we provide a list of event signups that each teen can select on their own, based on their availability.

In addition to the event signups, we will also be offering four, week-long event camps where team members will work with a small group of peers to plan and execute a fun, large-scale library program for children, with the support of library staff. Team members will volunteer 9-12 hours over the course of three to four days, depending on which camp is selected. They will be assigned to one of the following sessions according to availability and preference:

---
July 1-3: Zoom to the Moon
For this session, participation is Monday-Wednesday, from 9:30AM-12:30PM (three hours a day for three days, for a total of 9 hours). This program will be designed for preschoolers.

July 8-11: Space Camp
For this session, participation is Monday-Thursday, from 5PM-8PM (three hours a day for four days, for a total of 12 hours). This program will be designed for ages 7 and up.

July 17-19: Passport to the Planets
For this session, participation is Wednesday-Friday, from 1PM-4PM (three hours a day for three days, for a total of 9 hours). This program will be designed for ages 5 and up.

July 22-25, 1-4 pm; UFO, Oh No!
For this session, participation is Monday-Thursday, from 1PM-4PM (three hours a day for four days, for a total of 12 hours). This program will be designed for ages 7 and up.
