Bi Arts Festival 2019 - Application for Art & Craft Fair - Saturday, September 21, 2019

The Bi Arts Festival seeks bisexual-identified artists, makers & craftspeople (pansexual, fluid, and other non-monosexual identities welcome, too!) for a special one-day market. Our focus is handmade & hand-crafted, including zines and art.

Where: 519 Community Centre, Ballroom (519 Church Street, Toronto)
When: Saturday, September 21st, 2019
Time: 11am to 4pm
Accessible space (ramp from street with automatic doors; fully accessible, non-gendered restrooms).

Tables are six feet in length. The cost for a full table will be $60 and a half table will be $40, payable by e-transfer (this is only for vendors that are accepted; it is free to apply). If you would like to share a table, let us know (we will match you up, unless you already know the person you want to share with - that person will need to apply and be accepted to vend, as well).

Although both the Festival and Art & Craft Fair operate on a break-even basis, we wish to still remain accessible across all income ranges. We recognize that there are often financial and other barriers to full participation in Fairs and we are particularly interested in making space for those who may consider vending for the first time, as well as bi+ youth, students, folks who are underemployed or unemployed, persons living with disabilities and chronic illness, BIPOC members of our community and others. For this reason, we are providing ten half-tables at a reduced fee of $20. Please indicate below if you would like to apply for a scholarship.

If it is your first time applying to vend at a Fair / pop-up and you would like to be matched with a mentor, please let us know. Artists with a lived experience of mental health challenges or addiction can also apply to RISE for a micro-loan to assist with the costs of preparing for the Fair - RISE is not affiliated in any way with the Bi Arts Festival.

New in 2019, the Art & Craft Fair introduces a mentorship program. Mentors will provide pre-Festival support, answering questions that might arise for folks new to selling art, zines or merch at a Craft Fair.
