Trash Academy Application
Trash Academy is a “collaboratory” between residents, artists, environmental activists, and youth from across the city of Philadelphia. In addition to connecting communities to citywide resources and information, Trash Academy aims to inspire action around trash issues by testing and sharing the best grassroots solutions that emerge.

The Trashmobile is an educational tool designed to engage people at local events and public spaces. Trash Academy Leaders are invited by local residents, nonprofits, grassroots organizations, city government, and schools. With the Trashmobile, we provide programming like games, educational videos, surveys, recycling bin giveaways, and more!

As a Trash Academy Leader you will:

- Become an expert about Trash and its environmental impacts on our quality of life
- Attend Trash Academy meetings
- Develop leadership, organizing, and art-making skills
- Get paid to lead Trashmobile events with other members of Trash Academy ($50/event, 2-3 hrs each)

There are periodic trainings for Trash Academy Leaders. Applicants must attend a training session when it is next offered.
