THIS REGISTRATION IS CLOSED - Registration for Artists - Celebrating 25 years Jabiluka Blockade - NO to AUKUS Art Auction
Celebrating 25 years since the Jabiluka Blockade No to AUKUS Art Auction coming soon!

Friends of the Earth's Nuclear Free Collective is holding an art auction on June 30 and we'd love your creative contributions! Submissions of art works are open until June 20.

25 years since the emblematic Jabiluka campaign coincides with a the reckless decision to join the AUKUS military pact with nuclear powered submarines, which brings a very real risk of international nuclear waste dumps and excuses for a domestic nuclear industry in Australia. The auction will celebrate decades of nuclear resistance, while raising vital funds for our national nuclear-free campaign work.

We welcome artworks from all disciplines and work is not restricted to the title theme, however artists are welcome to submit a piece inspired by the theme if they wish.

For over forty years we've been an important part of a passionate national and international alliance that's working at all stages of the nuclear chain to protect country and community from this toxic industry.

Currently much of our work involves supporting Traditional Owners and local communities in the firing line for a national nuclear waste dump in South Australia, opposing the AUKUS deal and its radioactive consequences, help building pressure for Australia to sign the Nuclear Ban Treaty, countering the ongoing propaganda for and misinformation about nuclear power, as well as fighting to stop the development and reopening of uranium mine in Western and South Australia.
