Board Prep Matching Partner Non-profit Confirmation Spring 2013
The Board Prep Program (BPP) is currently seeking Philadelphia area non-profit organizations looking to add new talent to their Board of Directors.

BPP trains young individuals interested in serving on nonprofit boards. Created to teach participants how to use their leadership skills more effectively, while also learning how to be an effective board member, BPP prepares the next generation of young professionals in Philadelphia to serve as exceptional board leaders.

Run by Young Involved Philadelphia (YIP), BPP incorporates hands-on training in various areas of board leadership, including:

1.) Overview of Board Landscapes, Roles, and Functions
2.) Strategic Planning
3.) Legal & Ethical Responsibility
4.) Fundraising
5.) Financial Management, with a real-time case study.

Participants graduate from the program ready to be effective leaders in the Philadelphia community.

If your organization is seeking to develop new fresh leadership, we invite you to sign up as a Board Prep Partner Organization and join us for our Partner Matching Event on June 20th, 2013. Please complete this application by Monday, June 10th to secure your spot, as space is limited.
