Skokie Alliance for Electoral Reform is a grassroots movement formed in December 2021 to revitalize democracy and promote inclusive civic engagement in our Village. We aim to make positive systemic change to the electoral process in Skokie through ballot initiatives. In the summer of 2022 we gathered about 4,000 signatures from Skokie voters for each of our 3 ballot initiatives, which have now been certified for the November 8 ballot. We hope you'll support our initiatives with your endorsement (either as an individual, organization, or both) and that you'll help us spread the word to VOTE YES on November 8!

Our Ballot Initiatives:

- Non-Partisan Elections: to level the playing field for all candidates and inspire values-driven campaigns and greater voter turnout.

- Staggered Terms: to increase engagement and balance change with stability.

- Hybrid Representation: to provide more direct, local district representation while preserving a Village-wide perspective.
