Call for Makers - TOM: Columbia University Makeathon 2020
The call for Makers is now open for the 2020 TOM: Columbia University Makeathon, taking place at the Makerspace at Columbia University over the weekend of the 21 - 23 February 2020. To apply, please fill out the questionnaire below. You will be contacted by TOM after all applications have been reviewed.

We are seeking Makers to collaborate with Need-Knowers (individuals living with a disability, support workers, family members) to develop a solution together (prototype) over a weekend marathon of making, otherwise known as a makeathon. During this time, food, supplies, and workspace will be provided to make sure you have everything you need to make a difference in the life of your Need-Knower.

A Maker is anyone who has a passion for creating, and you don't need to be an engineer to participate in this event!

If you have any questions about the TOM: Columbia University Makeathon please contact or

The applications are slated to be fairly competitive, so do your best to accurately describe what makes YOU stand out as a maker. We are glad you have made it this far, and I hope to see you in January!
