2022 Cobb Student Leadership Academy: Teacher Leaders
Greetings and thank you for your interest in the newly expanded Cobb Student Leadership Academy. We are gathering the names of interested teacher leaders from each school that are willing to make an impact in their community and YOU were nominated by someone at your school.

Once applications are received, the staff of the CSLA will hand-select 1-2 teacher leaders from each school. These leaders will be invited to meet with our staff as we learn about leadership and how to serve your community.

Above all we want to help you be a leader in your school and make your community a better place to lead, live, and learn.

What is required of me?
As the teacher-leader and facilitator you are responsible for guiding the students through the process of creating a service initiative for your school community. Your role is advisor, not teacher. They do not need you to be a sage on the stage...but a guide on the side.

Each CSLA cohort is responsible for their own meeting schedule. That is between you and the students to decide.

In addition, we will host a few larger events this semester that we would love for you to attend:

1. Teacher Leader Kickoff Event - January 3rd: 2:00pm-4:00pm @ Georgia Aquarium (no cost)

2. Student Leader Kickoff Event - January 17th - MLK Day/National Day of Service @ Campbell HS

3. CSLA Midterm Check In - March 5th (TBD)

4. CSLA End of Year Celebration - May 7th (TBD)

Each of these events will be a unique experience for you and the students to connect with one another, connect and share ideas with other schools, and learn to be a better leader in your school building and life.
