2019 Jim Ratz Climb the Grand Scholarship
This scholarship is for a free guided trip up the Grand Teton with a small group of three other students and two Jackson Hole Mountain Guides. This opportunity was created in memory of Jim Ratz who was a Lander community member, an avid climber and a visionary. He was a former Executive Director of NOLS, co-owner of Jackson Hole Mountain Guides, and director of the AMGA. He dedicated his life to outdoor education and the preservation of Wilderness. He wanted to provide opportunities for Fremont County youth to experience and have access to the mountains.

Application is to be completed by applicant, not a parent. No previous climbing experience necessary. Eligible applicants are those finishing 8th – 11th grade in May 2019.
