The Hutto ISD Future Readiness Collegiate Mentor Program matches experienced community members as mentors to help high school juniors and seniors prepare for college. Mentors help students with admissions applications, scholarships, financial aid applications, test preparation, and career exploration.
During weekly or monthly sessions, mentors provide guidance and motivation to students, empowering them to reach post-secondary success in college and beyond. The cadence of meeting with the student is specfic to the needs of the student and mentor availability.
Mentors' advice and encouragement to students, who may be the first in their families to attend college, provide pathways to realizing their dreams and financially secure futures.
