Exploring New Ideas for Traffic Safety & Enforcement in the Tenderloin
The SF Bicycle Coalition and Tenderloin Community Benefit District have been working on a campaign to increase and improve traffic enforcement in the Tenderloin by coming up with community alternatives to traditional policing enforcement. As a diverse, low-income, working class residential neighborhood with a disproportionate number of traffic incidents and a lack of enforcement we are seeking new ideas for traffic safety and enforcement.

We ask for your assistance in our efforts by sharing your thoughts on this survey.

This survey's primary goal is to assess the role of the SFPD in enforcing/responding to traffic related incidents and to collect peoples thoughts on alternative models to policing in the Tenderloin when it comes to traffic enforcement.

The survey is broken up into four parts; Interactions with SFPD Traffic Enforcement, Traffic Enforcement in the Tenderloin, Alternatives to Traditional Forms of Traffic Enforcement for the Tenderloin and Demographics.

It should take approximately 15 minutes to complete the survey. Results of the survey will be anonymous and will be used to better inform what community alternatives Tenderloin residents want to see piloted in the future. The survey is LIVE NOW. We are particularly interested in responses from people living and working in the Tenderloin.
